I'M Mulyowa.

Mulyowa Vision & Amazing History
To help sustain and better care for his own family, Mulyowa is beginning to raise dairy goats and turkeys for both food and for sale.

However, typical of his humanitarian focus, he has the vision that with our help, his planned family-sized ‘model farm’ will inspire a much larger goat & turkey farm project to sustain an entire village of needy families where he grew up as an orphan.

Yes, Mulyowa's mother died when he was an infant, and his father & step-mother both died from a disease outbreak when Mulyowa was just 12 years old. But Mulyowa was not alone… He was the family’s oldest child with 8 younger brothers & sisters. So, at age 12, it was now Mulyowa’s huge responsibility to raise and care for this family of kids in rural Uganda. A few compassionate villagers taught young Mulyowa how to raise some basic crops in a home garden for food, and to sell & trade the excess. Other villagers taught Mulyowa and the kids how to care for small, quick-producing animals like chickens, turkeys and rabbits to feed themselves and sustain their needs.

Amazingly, because of his devotion and hard work, all of Mulyowa’s brothers and sisters survived into adulthood, four completed secondary school, and as head of his unique family Mulyowa went on to complete a university degree in business management. Always thinking of others and their welfare, Mulyowa has dedicated his life to teaching orphans and needy families how to create sustainable home gardens and to raise small farm animals.

Not stopping with individual kids & families, he as done the same with local schools to raise food for the kids who arrive hungry every day. He and his local group of volunteers have even helped needy church congregations and prison populations to create sustainable gardens to supplement their normally less-than-adequate diets. Combining their efforts, Mulyowa and his dedicated volunteers created ‘Children’s Voice Network’ - a Ugandan NGO (non-government organization) to continue and expand their mission of service.

Most importantly, Mulyowa’s own life deeply reflects his community efforts: Of his nine children, only four are his natural-born children, and five are orphans which he and his wonderful wife Pauline have willingly adopted.

Now, even though my Ugandan brother is highly respected locally for his live-giving work, it is Mulyowa himself that now needs our sustaining support. Food security, family health concerns, school fees for nine kids and securing a sustainable income are always a struggle. However, with his vision of a successful ‘model’ family goat & turkey farm on a small 2-acre plot of land, his success will inspire a much larger group of 5-acre projects in the very district & village that first taught him his life-sustaining skills.

As one human family, please join me in helping Mulyowa to support his family while supporting his wider inclusive vision, showing the world that even though “it takes a village to raise a child,” through Mulyowa's courage & vision and our support, we will prove that one inspired orphan child - now a uniquely focused man, can raise up and sustain entire villages & communities, and inspire the world community, as well!

Every donation will help. And your kind donation now will go on to assist so many others. With high-producing, quality milk goats averaging just over $150 each, and brooding turkeys at $15 apiece, let’s combine our donations into one focused world community vision - Mulyowa's vision. In every way, this is a family effort, our family, all of us together. Thank you so much!

Support Mulyowa, a dedicated humanitarian in rural Uganda. Help him sustain his family and realize his vision of a model farm, inspiring an entire village of needy families. Donate now to uplift communities and prove the power of one inspired individual. Together, we can make a difference. Thank you for your generous support!
